Phonics don't do anything for me, had the odd decent single but I don't bother with them any further than that. Oh, and don't f*ck about will Take That, Gary Barlow is an amazing songwriter, I think some of his songs are quality, though as a foursome, they are fucking annoying.

Gary Barlow is a boring fat c**t who only got interesting when he grew a beard and climbed up a fucking hill with chris moyals for fucking flea nets....He sits at a piano like a fatter shitter Elton John (now theres a song writer, you can fucking shove candle in the wind. But saturday nights alright for fighting is great and anyone who plays the piano dressed as daffy duck and slags the arse out of children in need is alright with me!!!)

I agree Muse are just plain wank. They should fucking stop now! How the f*ck are Radiohead still going, don't get me wrong I think The Bends & Pablo Honey are class albums but I think the alien is about to burst out of Thom Yorke... he's bloody weirder than ever and the albums have being getting too strange for me Give it a rest now! Who else? Agree with more modern attempts like wombats, scouting for girls etc etc etc I totally agree with Happy Mondays They were class in the day but they've already tried it before with the reincarnation (well sort of) that was Black Grape, little success but a few class songs! So they tried again with the Mondays, with a new album - Not very good I'm afraid you should stick to the DJ'ing lads but then again I've never heard em DJ! If Shaun Ryder can't even remember his lyrics without cue cards what good is he on the decks. The 'Fucking' Bluetones!! Not even very good in the 90's, so how the f*ck are they still going?? The sold out venues? The massive album sales? Not a bloody chance! Surely you can't live off a few good tracks from a debut album Definitely STOP NOW! Haha I like this thread

The Enemy piss me off, but to be fair they do write about real things, although it is a rip off they are better than a fair few bands.

I don't mind Radiohead really. Aye, what annoys me with the Enemy is the fact that all the tunes are "Everything is shit", which to be fair it is, but shouldn't music be giving us hope at times like this? They're going on about being the soundtrack to the Recession and that, but we don't need someone telling us how bad our lives are, we need bands to do what Oasis did in the last recession and give us a bit of optimism surely? People often compare the Enemy to the Jam (mainly because they blatantly robbed from them), but the Jam at least gave the listener a bit of aspiration.

In my opinion they have like one half decent song, like you said fergal its all depressing, pessemistic shite! And the singer is fucking ugly!

Arrogant prick, has that fucking dirty mullet of his firmly up his own arse. Another difference between them and The Jam is that when the Jam came around they were a breath of fresh air in a way, it was new, but Enemy are just a pack of pussys in the shadows of decent bands.

gotta love radiohead, theyre still going cus they continue to reinvent themselves, agree with upton, in rainbows is beautiful.
not got alot against the enemy, hes abit of a gobby prick but who isnt? few good tunes, wouldnt miss them but wouldnt cast them away like i would the wombats or dizzee rascal. lots of compariosns between enemy and jam but tbh its very rare a band is original these days.
whether u like muse or not, they hardly clog your radio so you shouldnt see any reason for them to go.

This is bollocks if bands never reformed I’d never of got the chance to see the original line-up of the sex pistols perform live. Someone even mentioned Led Zep without the original members. If ever there was a replaceable member of a band, drummers would get my nod. Seems Oasis would have to jack it in too?

My point on Led Zepplin is not Jon Bonnam's son playing drums, it the fact that the lead singer stated after the 02 gigs he wasn't going to tour so they where going to get some else in to do the job which I think is just daft. Who wants to see Johnny Rotten bouncing round the stage at 50? ?? Not me, there are certtain bands I would love to see reform (much to the disgust of some people ) The Smiths and The Roses just down to the fact I was too young to see them first time round.
