So you know, anyone want any tunes by Lee, just PM me and I'll email you a few, Tears In The Rain etc etc, plenty of stuff I could give you.
The whole Shambles thing is why I reckon it's bullshit, if Power or Cammy said that they are reforming then I'd believe it but you know, you need someone elses word for it really.

that n i have faith in him to make the best decisions about where he wants his music to be, unless of course he comes onto the forums and goes "oh noes, ferg doesnt like the idea, ill crawl back into a day job because he doesnt like it". Actually that's where you're wrong, the Roses, the Smiths and the Beatles were all planning to reform until they came on S&C and saw me say they shouldn't, they decided after seeing me chastise the idea that it would be best not to. The Verve only reformed because I told them to really well played ;D haha

Just an update for anyone:
Lee played a few more gigs and that, in something arms in Camden. And he played another with some Shambles dood and Rev McClure. All I know is that he has only played album stuff, usually TSG and one of either Feelin' or Son Of A Gun. Although a lad on La's forum chatted to him and he is still up for new tunes, most of which I've heard of but only heard shit versions. Though to be honest, like I said, all he's said is that he likes 'Shambles and that he has new stuff, no solid stuff, and I can't see anything coming, but then again, it can't all happen at once, these things take time.

If he wants to record new stuff with a new band then thats great, I'm looking forward to it. But not under that name, because there not the La's!!
Living of past glories, hes going to destroy the legacy of the that band, with a bunch of divs who where never in the la's in the first place!!

Spot on, the only 2 La's that matter to me are Lee and John, and with all respect to Drew I can't get my head round why John isn't involved, I think they will keep the name simply because it will be the same frontman with the same sound etc etc. Must also admit, that it is so obscene holding auditions, I'd have thought that they'd known people with the aquiered skills. Even if nothing comes of this, I'll still be going to see them on tour, time will tell.

They should just start a new project.
I think it has disaster written all over it. Maybe i will be proved wrong.

I don't think it would be a disaster, but the concept of still being called the La's is strange, do what the Rev did with that Mongrel band, just new music new name.

For the record, Lee and Drew got themselves a drummer, but never found a guitarist I don't think. I think that after all this time you do wonder whether it's the guitarists that are wrong and if it's just Lee's head But they pulled out of tramlines as per La's mythology and no one knew what happened with the festival abroad. But here's a really good video of Lee and Drew doing Feelin in may, meaning to post it for a while, but never got round to it www.youtube.com/watch?v=bljTPMgOg6c

Ant you seem like a pretty big expert on the band so if my favorite bands at the moment are The Courteeners, Arctic Monkeys, The Enemy, Kasabian, The Gaslight Anthem etc.. is it worth me getting their album?
