Really, cheers upton, don't I look like a dick. I've never heard anything by rolling stones, never realy think about them, so i just presumed it was a La's song when I heard it on a demo I downloaded. Don't I feel stupid ey, but like I said, I don't do Rolling Stones so you can excuse me. I enjoyed it actually, even though I've just found out it's a cover, good song. They do a good cover of 'That'll be the Day' by buddy holly, and 'My generation'. Thanks for telling me Upton, save me from further embaressment! Perhaps you should start to "do" the Rolling Stones after being impressed with one of their songs in a La's guise

My favourite Stones tune will always be "You Can't Always Get What You Want", the choir bit at the start, ace.

My listening time at the moment is dedicated to Mike Badger funnily enough, aswell as that I'm listening to The Smiths alot more than I used to, stuff like louder than bombs.

It's not the greatest hits, its just a compilation of a lot of the non album stuff that wasnt availible in the States to the American fans

Thankyou fergal, it was recommended by my uncle who got me into the smiths, I've heard it both along with Hatful Of Hollow. I think alot of it is fitting for any album, brilliant tracks.

I'd never know where to start if I was getting someone into the Smiths, that new greatest hits is probably the best place ,its a far better tracklisting than the other hits compilations of theirs

I got started with the queen is dead, and I fell in love with there is a light that never goes out, can't get enough of all first 3 albums now, Strangeways is still growing on me though.

Fergal is probably responsible for 65% of the sales of the Smiths CDs.
