Cheers Ian but as always you'll have to sign-up like the rest of 'em I'm sure you'll get one though, remember the last sign-up took well over a month to get rid of the "Best of Festivals" CD/flyer

Ooooh, yay.
That looks class, you know I'm a big fan of the scrapbooky look, wouldn't be the same if it was dead basic and typed etc. I love the way the back cover looks like it's been written straight on, which I'm sure it has but obviously all final 25 or so won't be original writing, love it! Tide us over until new album in summer.

Cheers Lads & same as me really Ant, like the look and ethics of DIY! BTW the handwriting is a font I found and squashed to make it look better - it does look like proper hand written though - even Liam's signature looks real... the sleeve defo looks better up close and in hand Fergal's not that far off from finishing the audio, oops that reminds me I forgot to look through my audio for him!! Sorry Fergs, I'll go and drag out my HD and have a gander

What stuff happens with the audio, I don't know much about musical production other than it should be loud! Does ferg have to play around mastering it and making it sound good etc??

Nah, I do very little really. Just get the audio, put the interview footage in at the end, mix it in, adjust the levels so it all sounds even and bits arent really loud or really quiet in comparison, do a bit of fiddling, done

Last one was courtesy of Darren, I'm sure even if we do have to pay that he won't be making profit out of us, only a small price.

The basic details have been posted in this thread: Link to post
For those wondering about cost/price - The CD will be free but I'm going to have to cover the postage costs this time as it worked out quite expensive when I sent out the Best of Festivals CD. Thinking of £1.50 but I'll confirm when I find the exact costs... I hope you don't mind but it will help, Ant hit the nail on the head! I won't be making any profit, I'll be 'losing' money - not though I even consider it as losing money, S&C make these CD's so you lot can have a nice package for your fix of The Courteeners ;D I'm thinking of re-opening the S&C Catalogue and have the P&P payment in their - so once the sign-up has been released you can pay instantly through paypal. I thought I'd warn you now as paypal is the most efficient way to handle this and will be the only method of payment for the P&P So, that's cleared all that up - cheers

Sounds very good, I'll willingly pay as much as need be, £1.50 sounds about right for postage. Maybe you could do a radiohead and ask for an optional fee on top of £1.50 and you could put the money towards whatever you fancy doing next.

I think if I started to charge (even for the good of the forum) I would run into problems from the label etc... One thing asking for postage but asking for optional fees just wouldn't be right Ant. I think that's why we haven't run to any problems with similar releases because no fee was involved?? I can't see it being a problems to charge for postage though - famous last words On the Audio...Fergal is a few tracks off and I had a look on my hard drive but there mainly taken from you tube videos so I couldn't find anything of any decent quality that hasn't been used/available before I'll do a search as I haven't looked for a while now - must be new stuff about now??
