Thanks for your comments mistermack, here's a little update for everyone concerned for the project.Everyone: Please don't worry I will proceed to make this happen because of all the work everyone has put in It will just take a bit longer than I first thought. The target is still release by June but that gives me about 2-3 weeks before I have to submit the proof to the printers Try and get more fans of the band involved in the forum, they have to be fans though as we are starting to be a close community and don't welcome people who are just here to start trouble. Has anyone come across any other place that like the band with there own thread/page dedicated to the band? Good call on this one! I will start a new thread in this project asap I have calculated my own estimate on the costs for my favoured quote, supplies and postage - I think £10 with P&P included will be a fair price. Looking at the few members that have voted in the poll at the top of this thread about a tenner is about right but I will have to wait to give you a final price when I submit the final design for the final quote. From the early quote on the requirements I gave the printers I wouldn't think the final quote would be much different anyway.

Thanks to everyone who has posted their pre-order details. I will have to look at into setting up a payment system (most likely paypal) for all these, as I think everyone said they would pay upfront it, nice one! This will help me out no end, thank you. Promotion.I have finally brought myself to start updating my profile on myspace and it's starting to look ok, all I used it for was to look for bands! It's now a site to show my design work, what sites I'm involved on. I have been trying to learn html/css for a few months now and this helped me create the bg etc, I do hate the many pre-made templates and themes! Anyway, I have included links for this forum and have mentioned the t-shirt, have a look at my*new*spaceI still hate mediafire Final Design? We still need to confirm the final design as I'm sure everyone just wants it on their backs now ;D Is everyone happy with the latest design changes?I know people wanted their user name or number somewhere but this wasn't realistic for the first t-shirt, the cost would be too high. I have suggested having it printed on a badge (or a patch if it's possible), maybe this will come as a free gift with the t-shirt If your unsure of how this has progressed I have made a new thread for showcasing design and idea images. This will be easier for you to compare the changes / alterations / variations already suggested. I'll keep updating here....

Hey loving the t-shirt designs...I will have one for a tenner I was thinking tho is there not some copyright on the Courteeners official logo on the front? Dont want you getting in trouble! I dunno if the design looks a bit cramped but I guess when its on a shirt it will be prob not be

Before you see them...I found a font that looked near to their logo as possible but you have a point. This is how I see it though: (or could be... in my defence ;D) I have made this forum work and everyone seems to like it. We are now a community with it's own name, that promotes the band too. Why haven't the band got an official forum on their own website? Well, it's all because of Snorting & Cavorting - The Courteeners No.1 Forum! I would never replicate any of their own t-shirt designs and I see this as a piece of fans work, not just mine. That is why I have exhausted all possibilities to make this for the sake of the community. ...moving on... Style & Colours.I have received the styles of the t-shirt, it's a fruit of the loom job, many many bands use this t-shirt and pleased to be using it too. I have never really noticed what the make has been when buying band one's myself...who does? ...being curious I investigated... out of all the band t-shirts I own, 70% were this brand. They have all lasted well for the amount of abuse they've receive! No real fading, some are ripped and/or stained 'cos of me though. Hooray! We are having both black & white designs ;DGents: You all know what a basic band tee looks like, they are all one style really, that's why you get small examples. Ladies: Sorry but no vest tops, so these are a compromise, it's the ladies skinny fit varitey. I think it will suit the design better than other styles anyway. Quantity & SizesSizes.I have had various quotes on the mix of colours/sizes/quantities, so I have incresed the quantity from 125 to 150. This is the best possible solution for splitting the 2 t-shirts for mens & women various sizes. The 150 T-Shirts will be split like this: 75 Black & 75 White with the following quantity of sizes for each colour MENS: 15 Small, 15 Medium & 15 Large LADIES: 15 Small, 15 Medium Note: Mens XL & Ladies L sizes have not been included. If their is an outcry for these sizes I'm sure no-one will mind if I get 15 of each made up. I know it started at 125, then 150 and could be 210 but that still isn't very many for the whole country of Courteeners fans Finally, here's the image:Did you enjoy looking at the great looking plain t-shirts I want this done now, I want to be wearing a finished one! I have also got so many other ideas and the Forum CD project to really concentrate on. However, I won't rush anything for the sake of quality and will proceed with full commitment. Sorry for the long post but I had to clear everything up and I only ut in 4 smilies (I can over do them). Oh sorry, just one little thing... ...I will be adding a paypal payment button or something along those lines later in the week, so you all can pay for your pre-orders

Thanks madchester, you should get involved more mate and make yourself part of the community. I thought you just signed-up for the badge set as I haven't heard from you in a long while Back onto the subject!I have been researching a payment method so I haven't been on the forum properly in the last few days. The best (and probably easiest) way would to create a shop, well a ' Shop Category' with a cart and items etc. This would then be used for any future forum merchandise on offer. I have now got code the whole thing, the day will be taken up by this and will post later with my progress

What a day searching everywhere for help on this. I did start with a trial copy of dreamweaver and an extention that puts paypal buttons in but I think paypal's own button creator is easy to use. After gaining a little knowledge on programming I did get to work on something I do like; graphics the layout and background. I'm a bit of a disappointment I didn't get much done but I'm learning as I go along. Right! I'll put my laptop down for the night now and then start fresh again tomorrow ;D

The whole thing is going a lot better today The naming game!I just couldn't call it the forum shop/cart, so I have designed it to show all the forum releases (only S&C 001 so far ) so I quite simply called it S&C Catalogue! Erm... yeah! Plain & simple that's what the whole thing is all about really, with the added paypal cart to go along it should be easy to navigate and process your orders. How long?To say it's a very simple page, it has taken me a couple of days to do so far. I have to now find out if it's simple to create a stock control system with the ordering process - you need to know how many items are left and would make sense to apply it before I get the paypal buttons coded. So if all goes well I may have it up and running by Friday ;D

Just a small update.... Inventory control would be a plus but unfortunately can't be implemented solely with html It has to be database driven on a server, so I proceeded with more interest.... ....I then registered our very own domain name.... ....all ready for when the forum is re-designed and coded properly.... ....all the forum content could then be hosted on that server for a lot better loading & refresh times.... ....the S&C Catalogue would then be able to introduce inventory control & member accounts.... ....the forum URL will eventually change to.... ....snortingandcavorting.com ;D It will not happen overnight though and I have loads of work to complete before I offer out the design/coding work. As always, I will let you know the progress
