i think most bands of the last year are shite. i mean dont get me wrong there a few class acts but a lot of it just seems like its got no staying power.
i mean bands like Scouting For Girls, Wombats, Pigeon Detectives, theyve got some good tunes but i cant see a second album.

I might be being a bit brave but RAZORLIGHT are shite...there we go I said it, in the words of Alex Turner 'bring on the backlash'

No backlash i dont think, most people i know seem to dislike razorlight
I thought the first album had some decent tunes, but the second album is shite, now they seem to get worse with every single they release

im with the people who highlighted those indie-pop bands who release 1 album and then bugger off to god only knows where. the kooks, the view, pigeon detectives, scouting for girls (wankers ) etc etc etc ... all have a couple of nice tunes, but dont even get me started on razorlight..... =p

radiohead irritate me, i mean yes they have arguably some good songs, but there is no relationship with the fans, all that giving away the album stuff was a load of rubbish cos it devalued the music and they still just ended up charging 40 quid to go and see them at massive stadiums and that. pretentious too

the first two albums are great, but the latter kraftwerk-esq 'noise' just got on my nerves big time i'm sorry to say

Alot of radiohead material, especially the last 4 albums are quite difficult to get into. im a big fan of them, still think thom yorke's a tw*t tho'.
i agree, i think the guy has very contradicting ideas about music and money. i don't think he always follows up on what he 'believes' or so he says.
still think there a great band

Thom Yorkes is a talented guy, they all are!! But I think you have to think far to much with there stuff. It should grab you good music......it's just to hard going for me and he always looks pissed off, and not even in a rock n roll way. The internet idea was good for rainbows or whatever its called, hopefully more bands will do the same
