hey i like razorlight, but i don't think they're a good band, they are cool tohave fun, their songs are really catchy, i think that the fact that JOhnny borrell is the biggest jackass on earth doesn't help the band image.
and on topic, i think the horrors are scary, i don't like the bands that dress or make up to gain atention, and their music is awful, much ado about nothing
radiohead is a very overated band! and bjork, i hate her, i cant stand her voicee! and her music, she wants to be rare

I'll tell you another band who are overrated. (ARE YOU SITTING DOWN SHOOPDELAANG? ??) The Strokes!!! My god they made so much money from being average. New York City Cops is still great but the rest is absolute DOG SHIT!! Posh little Manhatten boys!!!

New York City Cops is still great but the rest is absolute DOG sh*t!! Posh little Manhatten boys!!! I've always thought that. Liked Last Nite which is a class tune but the rest of Is This It is awful.

I could not disagree more The Strokes are an excellent band , who came through at a time when their was little to be excited about in charts that were being dominated by pop/dance/. It is not coincidental that The Strokes coming through in America triggered a chain reaction resulting in The Libertines being able to achieve success and offering the British scene their own vision , thus influencing so many other bands in the interim.

Posh little Manhatten boys!!! that was funny of course, i totally disagree, i think the strokes are one of the best bands of this century, today's music wouldn't be the same without the strokes, do you think the great arctic monkeys would exist without them? i really don't think so.

'One of the best bands of this century...... Rubbish' there not even one of the best bands of the last five years. The Arctic Monkeys still would have a deal with or without them!!! There complete guff!!!

i like the strokes quite a lot, but the last album was quite mundane. is this it and room on fire are still great albums and im a big fan, id say they were one of the more influencial bands of the past 5-10 years, influenced Arctic Monkeys a lot as shoopdelaang said

Shit Ferg I thought you were a man of taste and class..... IMO they were a very brief flash in the pan, helped along a great deal by the NME. I just don't get it. They had to come over here to sell records initially because no one else would entertain them...(saying that Americans have no taste anyway!!!)

haha the taste and class still remains thing is, whether you like them or not, because of them britain got interested in music again and record labels started to take chances with signing proper bands, the libertines only got signed on the back of the strokes' popularity and they ended up changing british music massively because great music was finally back on offer
