I just had a look at the original link and it states "...the results will be announced in the year’s final edition of Film&Music on December 19." So it will be announced today, not that it really matters  |

aah im well chuffed about that! i'm delighted for the lads, they really derserve it. people might talk about fans swaying it and all that, but like that author said, the lads have done something to give them such support. nice one. bring on the next album!

That's immense, very very pleased about this. Great way to end the year and all, you can shove your NME and Q top 50s and that, thats all misguided 'journalists', but when its a poll voted for by fans and they come up smelling of roses it says it all really!

well, the public spoke. the enemy and hard fi stuff had to be a dig....the guardian guys just couldnt accept that they actually won it. they just had to have a final dig at the band! well in the teeners!

I thought is was a dig with the comparison lark, it's not even a comparison to be completely honest. Just out of nosiness, why did Oasis pick The Enemy to support them in the big f*ck off gig next summer, Kasabian are awsome, but the decision to choose The Enemy leaves alot to be desired.
