Don't want to know I want it all at once me not 40seconds and track by track will ruin it.

Likewise, I'll listen to a leak if its the full record but not just 40 seconds, nay point really. Though I hear from the Oasis forum that High Horse Lady is the best one on there

I'm really looking forward to it! What are everyone's opinions on Shock Of The Lightening and Falling Down?

I likes SOTL on the first few listens, but now, its just a bit.........well boring, Liams voice sounds good, but it always does on record (Live. Sometimes he's lazy and he sounds like he singing whilst having a shite)
I like falling down more than SOTL..better tune.....Just my humble opinion!!!

Yeah, I think Falling Down will be the Mucky Fingers of this album...and Mucky Fingers is in my opinion as good as anything on DM and WTSML. Shock of the Lightening is, sadly, average at best.

Only heard SOTL, and I honestly thought it was crap, hated it with every single bone in my body right down to my little toe. I'm not going to buy the album, I will consider it and hopefully hear a few more tracks before I buy it.

SOTL is poor. I am disapointed. We've wated for a good few years for an Oasis album and this is the song that was supposed to signal their return to greatness. Unfortunately, they fail. I will be buying the album, as I feel I have to, but if that is the blueprint for the album, I think my money might be better spent elsewhere.

me mate who is like an oasis obsessive made a point yesterday, trying to brag them up but ended up proving me right
"The new albums going to be brilliant, Oasis only have to fart on record for it to get to number one"
"Just because they can do that, doesnt mean they should"
point proven

That's right Cal, it gets on my nearves now how Oasis can seel a record just by having their name on it, I hate bands like that, Coldplay are another, they are just shite yet people still buy their stuff just because it is their record.

the album isn't that bad really
I think all these different reactions becauses its very different from stuff before
we have some of the old school oasis like TSOTL, the turning, bag it up - but the new style stuff is really growing on me
they can't record another morning glory/defintley maybe can they

This is a great album I'm sorry after a few listens I love it the only sad thing is that they riped off The Doors really really badly.

I've been getting more and more into this album...and on 5th listen or sumat I confess to almighty God and to you my brothers and sisters....This is a great album. Massively. I'm in love with it at the moment, so consistant with everything from Be Here Now onwards have lacked, I were reading sumat Alan McGee were saying and it sums it up perfectly: "For me, the past four post-Morning Glory albums never captured the magic of the first two. Songs from the past five albums had moments of pop reverberations and incredible songwriting, but were never complete statements. With Dig Out Your Soul, the notorious Oasis brothers have found their mojo. It's back, without a doubt."
AMEN
(P.S. This bit was good and all: I understand that openly admitting to liking Oasis is inviting confrontation, but you know what? Being an Oasis fan is never having to say I'm sorry. And I'm not.)
