This interview has also surfaced from the weekend. Pretty much says the same as on XFM, also mentions about Joe Cross here. I think he has had a massive influence, some in the sound of the songs and I can definitely see it in the way Liam looks now as opposed to recent times.
He also performed a 'new song' which should air tomorrow I've been told. Not sure if the song is one we have heard yet or not. Hopefully we haven't.

I've always found it strange how the Courteeners manage to escape a lot of press attention. They came out at a strange time for guitar music and a lot of the music press wrote them off as just another landfill indie group, and when they managed to repeatedly disprove that token the media wasn't quite sure what to do. The Courteeners have done so much without the press or the media on side it is astounding to think what could happen with just a bit of daytime Radio 1 airplay and positive reviews from those that 'matter' (NME/Guardian etc). We've got quite a bit up on www.facebook.com/CourteenersWeStand about it (which is growing massively be the way)

It's a long shot but does anybody happen to have any rough versions of Tokyo Crows, Sunflower or Wind & The Drizzle?

I don't think there's any knocking about. Strange set of songs these, 'Sunflower' & 'It'll Take More Than A Weekend...' were both said to be in contention for Falcon and even when they didn't make the cut he played them at the gig in Salford a couple of years back. 'Tokyo Crows' was also in contention and 'Wind & The Drizzle' was played in Salford and may have been around when they were doing Falcon too. Tear Me Apart is another.
Will they see the light of day any time soon? He obviously likes them. Or have they become another song now?
Does anybody have any info on them?

Winter Wonderland? Hopefully be released in some way. If this is on the album, it may not be as 'loud' as Liam stated. With this, 'Push Yourself' and 'Why Are You Still With Him' all seeming as if they are somewhat 'chilled'. Although things will most likely change, here's to guessing?

At long last....2013:The Year of Anna!
Love the artwork and some of them song names, I'm sure the title has a story too it to. Really surprised 'Why Are You Still With Him?' didn't make the cut.
The clip of 'Lose Control' sounds incredible! He was right, that song is going to be fucking massive.

Look out boys and girls! We're in for a rough ride. Judgin from the intro, I think we,ve got a heavier, more subtle, yet still melodic, set of songs coming our way.Don't forget the transition from 'St Jude' to ' Falcon'! Many of you 'Festival goers' will have noticed, with a couple of new songs having been played over the 'summer', the band has changed. Image?, yes Musicaly? yes. Can't wait until 4/2/13.......and Glasto? (inter alia). I suspect that a a 'pre-album' single may be in the offing! 'Lose Control'? S n N is alive again!!!

Sean, I guess you got all this from the stable! I guess that ' Summer' and 'Up All Night' will be confined to 'B' Sides then! Really good, strong songs! Shame really. Art work looks good though. I don't get the white horse or the stripey light housey thing in the background! No doubt this will be explained in the fullness of time! Good to see the site active again.
