I love that video you know, was well impressed with it, one of the better things they've done in recent times, and it's not a bad song. Proof of Alex Turner's sense of humour buried somewhere beneath that Alan Partridge-esque red polo neck (a bit dubious!)

Have always been a massive fan of of the AMs...however the album has taken a while to grow on me and I wasn't sure it would at one point. However I've just started listening to it again (after hammering it before leeds and not much since) and I'm loving it...cornerstone is a gorgeous track and can't wait to hear the bsides.
I think the true test for the arctic monkeys will be this tour. I've seen them a four times in total and they struggle to step up to challenge at times and I never thought I would see them do an arena tour for this reason. Gmex was pretty awful...
I know they have played big crowds at festivals etc but I think there is a lot less pressure in terms of atmosphere....that been said Arctics at the cricket ground was one of the best gigs I've experienced and they really gave it everything they had.
Just hope they can do it again!

An update from me:
WPTOMTWIN was probably the bands most important album, but currently........for me...........Humbug is the bands most complete and best album.
I am absolutely loving it. I think it has everything.

Saw them on Monday - none of the fancy stuff I've seen at Kasabian and Muse over the last 3 days but quality tunes and they really lifted their heads and had a bit of crack...mental crowd but you expect it with them..
well apart from two blokes stood near us at one point taking about work...losers.
3 gigs in 6 days + teaching teenagers in Middlesbrough = f**king knacked!
