spoke to conan outside the cribs the other night. said theyve got about 16 possible songs for the new record. bojangles isnt going to be on there. more of a bside track.
said something along the lines of "no point making the same record twice"
really looking forward to it now.

Hope 'Revolve' will be on the 2nd album, old tune, but massive.
And 'Piercing blues' had such a great potential (but practically sure it won't make it)

Same, Bojangles is good, but if it's going to be different then B-side is where it belongs  That does leave doubts over the inclusion of Revolver though. Guess that the 4/5 tracks that get left out will be used as B-sides. Looking forward to it now, glad it's going to be fresh. |

Bojangles is a good tune but it being a b-side doesn't suprise me really. Probably a good move. I reckon Revolver will be on the album, the amount they've talked it up in the press and that they'd be stupid not to. Contender for a first single I believe, that or sumat we've not heard, I'd be suprised if Good Times or Calling, Sycophant or Tear Me Apart were chosen as a first single, two of those three could easily stand up as lead singles but I have a feeling they'll give us sumat properly new, who knows.
