Falcon has not been left on the side ever since Feb, Ive been listening to it full stop and its a classic. Far superior to St.Jude in my humble opinion because well every piece has had time gone into it. The words, the melodies, the little adlibs and even though it lacks a little energy in parts, its full of love and passion. Musically the boys are on it big time and i hope that the 3rd album is again another progression, hopefully with a bit more aggression and drive. Something along the lines of Scratch Your Lips.......... The only difference I would have on Falcon is I would like Piercing Blues on the album as the final track, with the song starting as it does with the piano and then 6 or so minutes down the lines the music turns into WIBTWF. Still 10/10 though! Starting to realize what you're saying, musically it's such a massive progression. Think when I said I wanted it to be more of a band effort I was pretty naive because on St. Jude they drums and guitar are a little more raw, where's the production on this is different and takes a while to get used too, but when you do it's brilliant. But what do I know anyway, really beginning to love Falcon. Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips may possibly be one of my favourite all time tracks from them too! One of my live favourites too.

Liam Fray is an artist and a perfectionist and as fans I think we take it for granted a little. The band with Falcon seem to have nailed the music and production just as much as the words, although the words are slightly superior because they show raw emotions of the heart, the music & production come a very close second. How many people have been giving the sheers when the stick Falcon on in the headphones? Triumphant, Uplifting. Every track is an anthem (almost). It is the best record that I have bought since Whats The Story..... or Definitely Maybe. Enough Said!

Been thinking about his album a lot recently and I've come to my personal decision that it's decent, not amazing but equally not bad. I think I spent a long time trying to force myself to love it where's there's 2 or 3 songs I just don't like (Lullaby, Good Times Are Calling, Cross My Heart). I always enjoy listening to it but I don't know, finally dawned on me that it's not my favourite album ever. Still one of my favourite bands anyway, looking forward to record 3.
