Liam was out in town the other night and was speaking to my mate all night (I wasn't out  ) about everything really and he said the album is due January. |

Yeh he said early next year in an interview at T aswell so looks pretty certain.

i read somewhere that part of it would have northern soul influences and others i cant remember but sounds very interesting!

in the xfm interview he said they were off to new york on the 23rd to mix the album or something. So maybe a stop off home before that? You know if he was saying much man?

What ever happened to the updates on their website, sure it was said keep an eye out for news from the recording sessions... Must have been a ploy to get people over to thecourteeners.com  I know since it was mentioned I've been checking it but before I never really went on there, nothing really going on, to be honest it's a bit shit Anyway, I forgot all about them going to nyc to finish it  |

Yeah the website never really says much and it's like months apart when the news stories are released. January isn't looking too far away and hopefully a single will be around a few weeks before.
