I agree with the Cribs...I dont get it, but I can understand why people like them. They mean it and there dead prolific as song writers. They remind me of the Libs a bit in how there fans are fucking fanatical about them....HIS FRINGE MAKES ME LAUGH though!!

The Coral are fucking brilliant, but again there not everyones cuppa there a bit 'out there' thats one of the reason I like them!!

I can't see why anyone can't like the coral, for me they are an everyday catchy pop band, how brilliant is it waking up to 'in the morning', so upbeat. I love them!

Like Ian I prefer some of the more "out there" Coral stuff, but I think what makes them great is the fact they have these out and out pop tunes mixed with a proper mad sound, its so diverse, theres tons to it. But aye Ant, they do appeal to many on the strength of the catchy pop alone, and they are masters of it. Calenders and Clocks, Goodbye, She's Got a Reason, Skeleton Key, Wild Fire, Rebecca You, I Remember When, Secret Kiss, Don't Think You're the First, Venom Cable, Put the Sun Back, When All Birds Have Flown, I could sit here all day discussing how great the Coral are.
Noel Gallagher was not far off the mark saying they are too ahead of their time and are one of the most underrated bands going

Right..i'll tell you one of the reasons I love the coral. ;D ...The f**k**g sleeve in 'THE CORAL' cd!!! Try opening that out then folding it back up and getting it back in the case in one go!! IT CANT BE DONE!!  You need a f**k**g degree in origami to do it.....I ended up with a f**k**g swan before???  |

hahaha, quality. I know how you feel, I think it is a Joy Division deluxe that I have that is similair, as is the Coral singles rather ironically, folds out into a huge 6 foot long red carpet style pull out, funny mind.

The Cribs are underrated. brilliant band, amazing live, really genuine, funny, great songs and lyrics, great image.

I dont get the coral me, seen them live and to be fair they are good live, but theres something i just dont get about them. i can see the appeal but it just doesnt appeal to me.

not a big fan of the cribs, but they have a good energy live n i'd enjoy that, just think that theres nothing particularly special from what ive seen, dont even rate their song writing really.
