abit over zealous but seeing as im not as big a manchester music fan as you lot courteeners would be in my personal top 5.

Uuuuum, if my top 3 where smiths, roses, oasis, then possibly 4 would be joy division (despite them being from cheshire, we always call them a manchester band), I couldn't pick a number 5, I've not heard much by elbow or james so I couldn't have them personally, maybe I'd have to put the courteeners on personal opinion.

oy division (despite them being from cheshire, we always call them a manchester band). Joy Division were formed in Salford and are considerd a Salford band. Despite Curtis and Morris being from Macclesfield, Chesire. Hook and Sumner were both born in Salford and it was they who formed the band and placed an advert for a vocalist, which Curtis responded to.
