The retail on play is £99 at the moment, but some refurbished ones are £20 or so cheaper, I trust amazon second hand, all the CD's I get off there are second hand and I've never had any problems. I already had a copy of 'the la's' but I got another for my car and it was only 10p with postage, no problems. I shall look...............

depends on the landlord, of the two main pubs i go to, if your caught sniffing in one your outright banned from there, no pubwatch, just banned for life.

n the other one, its common knowledge everyone in there is off it, but nothing really done.

Hang on Darren, I had a problem with what he said, I didn't ask anyone to get involved or pick sides with me...people expressed there opinions some in favor AND SOME NOT!! To suggest he's been picked on or ostracised by people in the forum is utter shite, there where at least two people who stood up for him during this debate/argument.


I didn't pick him up for doing his job.....one of my points being he dosn't work in the pub!!

I have better things to do than pick on him!! From now on I promise to ignore the pointless, half arses, boring posts for the good of the forum as I don't want to rock the boat (as so many others do!! ).....Disagreements seem to be getting mixed up with so called attacks on peoples character.

I have also learnt a valuable lesion on people I can trust and people I cant on this forum, I wont pass on thought or judgments away from the forum again, in danger of them being reported back to the boss!!

Thankfully when I'm told various little 'gems' regarding other members of S&C I manage to keep my mouth shut.

Back to what I was saying about that mp3, the downside to the £75 one second hand is that it doesn't come with the original headphones, which is a bum, so I won't bother. Might just get a non-wireless one, not really that bad having wires, managed until now.

Back to 2009 - I'm off to see Elbow for the first time on Tuesday - not really familiar with their work but bought my daddy tickets for crimbo....dad is going to load me his copy of seldom seen kid but can anyone recommend a few tracks they are likely to play so I can get them downloaded and revised pre tuesday???
