I was pointing out what nobbish behavior I thought it was. Batman can't justify what he did and said, he had to change tact, and start going on about 'celebrating music' and such other bullshit!! If he took his own advice none of this would have happen. If anyone has a problem with what I said TOUGH SHIT, theres enough shite posts on this forum....my disagrement with him wont really make a difference!!  |

Im 19 and have been drinking for years, but i was never a vigilante, just go out for a laugh and to get pissed, not to be the PubWatch.

That's just being smart arse mate, as far as they are concerned I am 19 says the crappy fake I.D. so no one other thanme and my mates know it's wrong. Move on anyway.
I am one of those U2 fans who is still 100% sure that they can create a masterpiece, over optimistic of course, put when you hear the new album, a number of the tracks will go down as U2 classics, especially 'Breathe'. Amazing.

its orite ant everyone has a band who they love no matter what they produce i think. either that or they just love bands tht have split up n critisize new ones.
its different cal, by law hes probably perfectly within his rights to be there, just like im perfectly in my rights to spend the day in somerfield grazing on pic n mix, but its just a nuiscance whereas underage drinking is the norm.

Correct, I breaking the law in order to brake the law, all silly really, I got it when I was younger to say that I was just 18 and now I am nearly 20 on it, which is ironic because an older riend of mine, nearly 18 himself, says on his that he is younger than me, despite me being the baby faced one and him looking 20+. I'm kind of shooting myself in the foot breaking the law (despite us all doing it), because it doesn't help justify what I did on saturday at the pub  |

Well, my 2009 was going alright and have started to get back into forum life and looked forward to finding out what people have been up to this year - until I read the last few pages!! f*ck it - Here goes I can't see why you have ripped into poor old (young) Ant though - No wonder he wants to change the bloody subject to music! I don't mind anyone calling me a *c**t* or whatever else if I had been a complete w@nker or done something wrong but all I see is Ant doing his job - very strange  Look at it in another way - Imagine going out to your bin to find someone had been taking all your old scraps - The next day they are hanging around waiting for your rubbish when you put it out! They are not causing any harm, not defacing your property and not being abusive but they continue to 'live' on your driveway waiting for your leftovers - Would that bother you? I know I wouldn't want it and would have to do something - Is this not the same? When Ant's at work he has a role to take and wouldn't be doing his job properly if he didn't do anything about it - I don't see him being on a high horse or a jobsworth or ought like that - just showing respect for his employer For f*ck sake I can see S&C turning into another forum that just rips into people for the hell of it - something I thought that could never happen - maybe I'm just totally deluded but I really did think this was a community and not just another internet forum. I know we all have our difference of opinions but it doesn't have to turn into another slagging off! It's been said that there's no life on here and things like this liven the place up I don't give a flying f*ck if anyone thinks it's boring or whatever - I just don't want to read thought a load of shite or abuse, even if it's off-topic! Just seems that the honeymoon period is over and the light hearted banter is moving into full on slurs I'm at the stage in my life where I'm past caring about what others think, if you don't like it or think I'm talking out my arse, please bring a valuable discussion to this thread

Another good talking point for me in 09' is that I am receiving a huge pay packet on friday, Yippee! Though I have done loads of overtime to cover the driving insurance so it all comes down to a very normal amount  I have my eye on a walkman on play.com my friend has a similair one but I am used to playing music on my phone and it is crap, so I had an eye on an 8GB sony thing with bluetooth headphones, on offer. Just wondering if anyone has walkmen and can tell me if they are any good. |

Ant - look out for second hand or refurbished - could grab a bargain?? It's just that I always look for cheaper alternatives before having to pay retail price. I'm looking for an external CD/DVD writer(burner) - I did end up 'buying' one but a lot cheaper than other places... Last week I got an email asking about their service!! I hadn't even received it - after 2 weeks! 2 emails sent - no reply - started to thing they were dodgy until I got a refund in my paypal account. They never let me know why or I was even getting a refund!! So I'm looking again! I did want a duplicator but they are expensive - I still look for a bargain on ebay though. Really exciting hey |
