anyone think the next album should have more tunes like kings of the new road, if it wasn't for me and trying too hard to score - just raw rip the f**k out of it tunes they need a few more of them on the album Completely agree, though KOTNR and IIWFM are 2 of my lesser liked tracks I love TTHTS, best B-side. It should be the direction they go in because that is what the industry needs, classic f**k off original rock n roll beasts! I don't think they should go in any set direction really, not one to base an album on. Who wants to hear 11 tracks that are all like Kings of the New Road and Trying Too Hard To Score? Who wants to hear 11 tracks that are all like Please Don't and That Kiss? It's all about versatility I reckon, you should be trying to make a sort of varied record. St Jude has that in its favour and I reckon the second album will too, a number of proper rock'n'roll tunes, a few ballads, a few anthems, you're in there.

St Jude was a varied album, and I would love somthing along those lines again. It will obviously be more mature as they have grown as individuals and musicians. Im excited anyways. No real point speculating.

I know what you are saying, but my point was that when you make an album, I've thought you should look to base it on a certain style op music, rather than like a scrapbook as St. Jude was. Just the way most great bands have been through the times.

I don't agree with that comment. The "great" albums always seem to be fair deverse. Look at Revolver for example, the Stone Roses or London Calling, they all are very diverse albums and are widely seen as some of the best British albums ever. They don't focus on a particular genre, instead they dip between different styles of music. Even the Smiths were very diverse with Meat is Murder, that covers all sorts from rockabilly to disco to punk. The Courteeners are a better band than to make an album of all one sort of song

I do agree that I wouldn't a full album of tracks like kings of the new road etc but I just said I wanted a few more I do have time for the tunes like that kiss, please don't and yesterday today - its just when i'm pissed off for whatever reason I just want to stick st.jude on and go to track 9 ;D

Uuuuuuuuuum, I always listen from the start when I'm pissed off Andy, aftershow is a rip arse shit in your face song.
Anyway, no matter how any of us want the album to be, we can be assured it will be a classic.

Bojangles also has that feel, and therefore I'm confident that album #2 will be much better
