The band will be performing two special shows to celebrate New Year's Eve in Leeds and Sheffield this month. Starting in Leeds at 22:30pm, the band will play a headline set before heading over to Sheffield Academy for another headline show arriving stage around 00:30am. Tickets are available from Ticketweb. Also, I think New Year's is a hard night for alot of people to make, being as there's usually no taxis about.

I'm so very annoyed about this. I live in the middle of Leeds and Sheffield, I go to the Sheffield Academy every other week for the Pet Sounds club night and I adore the Courteeners but I can't go cos all my friends want to spend new year with their boyfriends  I hate being single purely and simply because I haven't got someone I can drag along to gigs whenever I want! |

Yeah I'm really disappointed considering the year they have just had Guess venues in manchester wouldn't have them, can't see them turnin down the chance to play manchester at new years eve but you never know Two nights at the apollo though! 2 of the best ive been too so not complain too much i guess! |

they might not have been approached to play in manchester, who knows. theyre very popular chaps at the moment, and they must be in demand!
they might not want to play manchester, academy 1 and 2 nights of apollo may be enough, what a year it has been for them!

got tickets for leeds one, my mate goes uni there so will gatecrash his sofa. gun try & get to the sheffiel done after leeds has finished, but might not manage it.
