I'm shaking in excitement, shame it's in bloody california, but you never know, if one thing leads to another then they could go on a proper tour, that would be ace. The best thing about this is that alot of us younger people have been deprived of seeing them live because we came around to late, so we may finally get a chance at seeing them. Can't wait.

Actually, now kinney mentions it, Morrissey has been quoted in the past for saying he would rather eat his own insides than reform so it would be money motivated. Still, I'd love it to happen, please.

A Smiths Reunion would be absoloutely shocking and possibly the worst thing to happen that could stain any of their reputations.

I would love to see then live, for all you know they could be amazing if they reformed.
If you think about it, I bet people were saying the same thing about the La's when they split up in 95', how bad it would be and how much it would tarnish their reputation, but they reformed 10 years later in 2005 and did a few gigs and festivals, and it did them no harm, all positive reviews and feedback. Suppose it may be on a different level to the smiths but a reunion is a reunion whether it is big or small.
(fingers crossed a second La's album soon, first album in the opinion of Lee Mavers, but wouldn't it be great, they still together n' all)
