On youtube there is an interview with the more normal of the 2 gallagher brothers and he says something along the lines of, "You never hear of any smiths demos or unreleased stuff, so they must have never been shit because we've heard everything they did."
He's been proved wrong by the looks of it, not the fact they aren't shit, the fact they have got demo's and stuff.

I think the point he's trying to prove is that the smiths didnt record any shit songs....I think thats quite a bold statment because they did....but there wasn't many stinkers....PROLIFIC SONGWRITERS THE PAIR OF EM......well they where

Aye I don't think he was saying that they didn't have demos, Noel more than most would be aware of the demos as he was there right from the start as a fan. When I first saw the interview where Noel said that I thought it was a bold statement...but I later realised he was bang on. There were a few below average tunes but that really is it, most notably the ones that sunk far below average was that awful cover of Golden Lights, Oscillate Wildly, Death at Ones Elbow and Money Changes Everything
