I'm have never really been one to really voice my opinions anyway but I will try and start to get more involved once this is complete....

Again it's time for another apology for not being around the forum lately.

I've still got hell of a lot on away from S&C so I'm only doing essential around the place, like the flyers and a few updates.

Thanks to everyone for staying with S&C, it seems to run itself anyway and now we have Fergal and Kyle as mods for you lot to use and abuse as you like ;D

So now I have got my NVQ sorted out and then this week was given another bit of temp work which has now turned into a full time job

Now I'm back in full time employment again I'll have to take even more of a back-seat for a short while, just until I get everything in order and then I can start working through the ever increasing to-do list I have been keeping....

....I think I'll get a few days off next week though as a job has been put back, so at least I'll give you lot a bit of attention

Hopefully I can persuade the other half to let me get another flyer printed - she is now my financial adviser because I'm a shopoholic ;D

Watch out for her! She registered on here to keep an eye on me - her UN is bob (don't ask) - I've told her I'll ban her but she would probably re-register anyway!!

Anyway, I really like the T in the park beer-mat type flyer, so maybe this could be re-used for V over the 2 days and have loads printed. It would only be about 100 quid for (I think) 500 proper beer mats - they could be used as frisbies to bombard the band on stage - they will take notice of S&C's flyers

Thanks to everyone for keeping S&C alive with my absence, I managed to get a full week work so had no time for you again

I have been told it's the coming week that will be slack, so I'll get more time then.

I've really missed working on the structure and will get round to putting up a right good one for the audio board, which will please Fergal 'cos I'm sure he wants a slice or was that video ;D

I've got to help all the people I've made promises to (they know who they are) and then work through the forum to-do list....

Hooray! finished the job we were doing at work so got a few days off this week and next, back Wednesday.

So now I'll have time to do what I've been going on about ;D

I have been doing bits and bobs each night, so got some work for the forum done, all will be revealed when I have got enough content

The few days off I had the other week didn't help as I had to tidy up a load off loose ends in my every day life!

So I didn't get much done on the forum again - only the flyers getting attention really

V Festival
Sorry I just didn't have the cash to get any beermats made up for V.
I'm not losing hope on the idea though as it could be a good one for the next tour (if I have the funds).


Banners
I did update a few banners for some categories and I changed the main forum banner with the .com URL.

I thought I would create something a bit more homely and go with the community spirit you have built.

What do you think of them?


proboards or our own .com URL?
As Cal pointed out a while back... why aren't you using snortingandcavorting.com?

He was dead right! I was saving it for the future re-development but since that looks like another one on the back burner then why not use our own URL (it's been up for a while now)

Which one do you use?


There seems to be a few pages that are using the proboards URL only, like html pages I've created with links in them, I'll have to update because if your on the .com you then get re-directed to proboards and have to sign in again!
A bit of a pain and maybe confusion to newbies.

I will be working on.
With just one more summer festival date for me to complete, I'm working on it now, so this is high priority as I want to release it before Monday (nudge wink)

I will have to do some sort of Q&A and forum introduction or something, all other forums have them so I think it is needed as this has been playing on my mind for ever!

I will get round to giving our new staff titles and categories to look after - I haven't forgot about you - honest


So, I leave it at that for the moment, as I keep saying 'I'll add to my list' but now I'm working through it ;D

Got a load of stuff to do around the house as well, so I'll divide the time every day.

Anyway, next on the list:

sort the staff roles out
and FINALLY announce the review panel! (If you can remember that far back )

The 25 only physical release of the latest festival flyer "S&C FL007 Jersey Live" which was originally made as a CD insert is still available if you go to the flyers sub-board within Artwork.

I'm really surprised how slow the sign-up has gone, I would have though all 25 CD's would be gone by now

Yeah about time as far as I'm concerned.....a lackluster performance from our illustrious if some what enigmatic LEADER....poor ferg fretting like f*ck the other day he was, trying to get the new tune of radio 1. Cal was off some were, he was all on his own the poor lad.......Thinking he let the forum down (which he did the useless shit house... )

I think I speak for the forum Mr Wells when i say 'WE SEE MORE OF HAILEY'S COMET THAN WE DO YOU..' ;D
