That was a bit silly of Noel then, if it's shit then it's shit. Never mind, at least Liam will know now. And as for this 'Soldier on', it's not to hard to write his best ever, at least from what I've heard he hasn't written anything worthy of being on an Oasis album.

That is a weird way of teaching him a lesson. Noel's name and reputation is at steak as well. Fair play though.
I have just thought, didnt Liam write "pass me down the wine"? I love that song.

Antoine thats bullshit, you cant knock any one who at least tries to pen a tune I might be biased but I think Liam has done some good tunes (eyeball ticker, meaning of soul etc) and he's done some shite (Little James, Born on a different cloud) But you cant knock him. Lets hear some of yours tunes??? |

Yeah, Liam's wrote some decent tunes in his time. Meaning of Soul is a great rock tune as is Songbird a great pop tune - if Noel wrote them they'd be "modern classics"

That is like saying you can never say any tune is bad cos at least the person who wrote it tried. Do you think the same for McFly or Fratellis and all their songs? I do agree that he has written some good tunes though - Pass Me Down the Wine, Songbird and Meaning Of Soul are all very good. |

i little james. where he rhymes plastecine with trampoline (i think) that were cool, as they fit the song.
it doesnt matter if the rhyming is simple. not everyone is articulate, as long as the song works, who care about the ryhme.

To be fair, I like the tune of Little James. I just wish it had a different topic and some better lyrics.
The lyric you mentioned Cal is definetly alright. Seemed as though some thought was put into that. Its just some of the other parts are quite poor lyrically in my opinion of course. I am sure plenty disagree.
If it had a better topic would be a really good song for me. I just find some of the fhyming cringfull.
