Etched on the centre of the Acrylic vinyl in tiny letters, is
"Jealousy Will Destroy Us Them Not Us"
a play on one of the lines out of No You Didnt No You Dont
hmmm maybe that?

With a load of free time recently 'cos I'm still waiting for the number stamper for the badge set I jumped the gun a bit and started to design the artwork for the CD.
Having completed the first drafts of the covers and CD artwork, I printed out a copy and made a CD.
I'm not ready to show any pictures or reveal the title as I have made no contact with the band or their representatives
However this could only be a good thing! If I approach them with the designs and everything first then everything is above board. I will need to make a good proposal to the band and hopefully they will see this is for the fans and the community I'm trying to build ;D
As I'm thinking about this whilst I write I probably haven't jumped the gun and making the artwork will help

I need some help from your guys and gals please.Having designed the artwork for the CD, I didn't think what packaging would be used!
I just thought a standard CD album case What do you want?I know I like it when a band has made a effort with the CD packaging, Hope of the States were a band who used a very creative designer in type2error (I hope that's right and it helped they were a cracking band!
Anyway, please let me know what you want, as this CD will be for you lot.

This is another side project at the moment, I promise to put by some time this week to get it moving along.
To summarize your recent posts:CD Packaging.I'm glad a few of you thought about what case the CD should hold, so here's a few more examples for you to think about.
The one's that could be used:
Digipak - as used for the Cavorting CD single, some of you have mentioned this as your choice. Nice and simple, looks a lot better than a normal jewel case. Can have separate slots for a booklet too. Double Digipak - If it's a 2-disc set, there's more room for the design too.
Card Sleeve - used for Acrylic CD single, I'm not so sure about this but they can be customized easily and would be cheap to produce.
Old Vinyl Sleeve - The old die-cut 60's sleeves would look great but this is a first thought
Special Packaging - I would love to do something 'different' as CDs are rather boring. I've seen cloth/Hessian/plastic/tin sleeves but I've always liked the 'DIY' style and I'm quite creative when I put the effort in.
I think I covered everything, have a think yourself and post your thoughts for me please

Card sleeve is the way to go... like you say much cheaper and easy to customize. Oh, and be sure to individually number each sleeve
