Sosososo excited though!!! Christmas markets for a few beers beforehand and then the Courteeners ... brilliance. Hope they play some new stuff too, the stuff they played in the summer was quality!!! Can't wait!

For anyone whos a middletonian, you'll know where im talking about. Anyway, was in a bar in middleton on thursday, conan and campbell were in there, got chatting, sounds like a mr kane might be on the cards for supporting again. not set in stone, but its likely! x

Well he's supporting Kasabian on the 8th and 10th, so it'd have to be the 9th he'd support.

Ren Harvieu has confirmed on her Twitter she'll be supporting on the 9th and 10th, but no mention of the 8th.

I'm not sure if they'll have two supports a night or one though so it'll be interesting to see the officially confirmed supports.

Looking for some advice here

Never been to The Apollo before - travelling down from Scotland - and I have tickets for the Saturday night date ;D

Just wondering if anyone could advise me of the setup at The Apollo ie What are the Bar Prices like, Seating Area Good, Stewards strict or ok, do you get wristbands for seating and standing etc

Any info would be appreciated so we know what to expect!!

Been to the Apollo a few times for gigs. It is an excellent venue (not too big but not too small!!) From what I can remember, I have never had wristbands but sure I had to show ticket stub when coming in and out from standing area. Bar prices seemed to be normal and not over inflated. I just remember it being hot and sweaty!!! ;D

I'd agree with mozmother! Been there quite a lot now and it's a decent enough venue, although the last time I went I thought the sound was awful. It's a very nice building (on the inside), I know a lot of bands look forward to playing there.

first time going to apollo on the friday to see the band just wondering about the venue itself! my ticket says stalls standingg does this mean im on the balcony then or floor ? really dont want to be balcony if thats the case! would appreciate it if someone could help

That'll mean you're standing on the floor mate. If you're seated it'll say 'circle' something.
