Festive Hometown Shows Announced

As work continues on new material for the follow up to 'Falcon', The Courteeners can today announce a pair of very special hometown shows.

Following on from last year's massive show at the MEN, the band have decided to return to the more intimate surroundings of the Manchester O2 Apollo.

They will headline the legendary Manchester venue over two nights - December 8th & 9th - for a pre-Christmas blow-out.

Tickets will be available through a exclusive fan pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday (September 7) through www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk

They will then go on general sale from 9am on Friday (September 9) via www.gigsandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Just found an official source, the venue says £22.50 so I wasn't far off.

How do you go about getting pre sale tickets? Ive not had an email with a link or out from the mailing list?

It's on their facebook. Although I would advise you to sign up to the mailing list again if you haven't got anything, always worth it.

The page has been changing for the last 30 minutes though, one minute sold out then look again and available, so who knows!

the ticketmaster link didn't work. it wasn't linked properly in the email but if you searched on ticketmaster they were there. but yeah they didn't seem to go on sale (nor did the o2 tickets which were also through ticketmaster) so if you've not got what you want i'd suggest keep checking that

i got some "standing" friday tickets on gigsandtours rather than "presale standing" after it said the presale ones were already sold out... there's some on there now.
