Had a look and couldn't see anything similar, this thread's basically for random views and thoughts that don't warrant a new thread creation but need to be said.
I'll start by saying everything on here looks top, need some time to digest it all though!

Don't know if it's just our local shop but I'm sick of all those clubs/teams collecting money by 'packing' bags in morrisions. They make things so much slower and block off all the shop. Can't they think of anything to raise money, every week there's a different collection, no worthy causes that you expect to do this, just lazy ass kids! I might ask to do an S&C collection, get everyone from the forum to pack bags

Just been to Manchester for the first time... I must say I was (secretly) impressed There's definitely something about that place. I loved it.

I know how you feel, every time I get off the train I just get some feeling. Guess it's just coming in on it past the Hacienda building and look across the city, love it.

Never been out for the day in Manchester, had nights out there many years ago but always wanted to get a proper feel for the place, one day I'll drag myself up there from the boredom of Newark... yawn

When you're in front of the old Hacienda you just start thinking of all those things that happened there and you don't quite realize that you are actually in that same place... And of course, listening to joy division, the smiths, stone roses, oasis, and even the courteeneres while passing by those streets where you know they all grew up, is just magical, at least when you're a music fan. You should definitely do that, Darren!

Manchester is a beautiful place, nice city vibe but not too full on and there is a lot of sporting and musical history looming around.
London is really nice too but only in small doses, just great to be near to places like Abbey Road, Carnaby Street & Camden Market etc

Yeah, I might go on a chav day out, drinks at the post office onto weatherspoons then down caesars & end it with a fight, sure that'll be a top night The only pub that was any good was The Wheatsheaf but haven't been in there for a few years now but I've heard that it's not very busy any more... We need a little venue for bands and that... no chavs allowed!

I guess I'm kind of lucky being right in between Liverpool and Manchester but there's still nothing to do where I actually live.
