I wasn't talking about their own gigs, I was talking about the Reading performance in which I think it was pretty stupid to play new songs for the majority of their set when their album had only been out since monday. Everyone was moaning after their set and I'm just saying that set could have been great if they played more oldies, you have to take into consideration at a festival that most people aren't there just to see you. I love Humbug and yes it's very big step forward, some hate it but I love it. I'm just saying their live performances aren't what they used to be, musically they're sound, blah, blah, blah. But live performances aren't just about that it's the atmosphere as well and Wembley had it's moments, yes but I wasn't blown away which shocked me as I've been a big fan for a very long time. Fair enough, what would you want from them to be blown away? That's the thing I just can't put my finger on it. Various people I know came out feeling the same and have said the same thing

pretty much everyone already had the leak though. its the bands decision to play what they want at a gig, they played basically the whole of humbug when i went to watch them and i thought it was quality. Not at Reading, I'd lost my friends during prodigy and where I was stood no one knew any of the new songs. Lots were moaning and proceeded to for the rest of the weekend. As I said before it's fine at their own gig but at a festival when your new album hasn't been out for a week yet, no

nobody near me was singing the words to humbug at their own gig.

But I think it's fine to play that much humbug material at their own gig so that is besides the point. If you go to a tour after the release of a new album you expect the majority of the set to be new material
