I keep on meaning to buy an electric guitar and learn how to play it properly ... at the moment, I'm messing around on a crappy acoustic, that I don't quite know how to play! I transferred my time and energy into drumming! Agreed though Sean, if I learnt how to play and that, I'd well want Liams guitar!

The problem with guitars is there are too many really cool ones.
Like you say I would love a red epiphone like liams, but also wouldnt mind a firebird, and the hummingbird acoustic like i mention not too long ago.
I saved up and bought the Fender and then a week later and saw a load of other guitars that i liked. If i had serious money then guitars would be a serious hobby of mine.

I think it was £300 brand new, you get them cheaper too though. I think thats a pretty fair price considering that there a very decent guitar. Also for people who are interested..... www.guitarampkeyboard.com thats the main site i use for guitars, equipment etc if i dont find what i want in the local shops. Notice that your from Preston, have you been to Rimmers in Leyland?

Whatever you do, do not use GAK, the website posted before. It's a bloody joke. Cheap and decent deals but if you have a problem with an item they WILL NOT get back to you. I bought a delay pedal from them which broke within a week of arrival, was not my fault and I have spent the last year emailing them, ringing them etc and heard absoloutely nothing back from them. £60 of kit and heard f*ck all, not a letter, not an email, no response, absoloutely nothing. Makes me very very angry

Best shop close by to me really which doesnt say much :/. Recently started using Dawsons in Manchester which has a pretty good collection of all sorts. Has stuff for the pianists and drummers on the forum too.

For me, the coolest guitars are the Fender Jazzmaster (practically every guitar band in the late 80s/early 90s had one), the Gibson ES-355 (George Harrison, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Noel Gallagher...) and the Rickenbacker 330 (Johnny Marr, Paul Weller, John Lennon).
Ah, I wish I had money.

Thought I'd post it here. That Gretsch that Liam had at Liverpool is devine, and he said it's ours, but we can't touch it Dead happy he said he bought it, dead happy for him. Looks and sounds quality.
