I've been thinking about the setlists for the new shows and was wondering which songs, from the usual setlist, will make way for the new songs. Obviously its going to be difficult to judge now without having heard the new songs but which songs do you think won't be included this tour.
Also, will Aftershow still be the opener? Will any of the (older) b-sides still be included as they were in 2008? (i.e. Kimberley, Slow Down, Trying Too Hard To Score)

yeah its hard to say really but I think they will defo do a lot more new stuff At the smaller venues I think its likely that they may jib: Trying too hard to score, slow down, if it wasn't for me, NYD NYD (reasoning for this being that Liam tended to play it acoustically instead at the more recent gigs), Kings of the new road? (love the song but to play new stuff something has to make way), maybe even fallowfield? Can't see WTYSL, Not 19 forever, please don't, acrylic, cavorting, bide your time being left out....surely? Aftershow/kimberley is a great opener and I can only see it being left out if one of the new songs is better to start the night with? Really hard to say, all speculation and depends on the direction they want to take, will That Kiss still be in the set? Will also be interesting to see if Liam keeps his 'solo' bit in the middle - so much he could play, again depends on what new stuf has been written, is there anything to replace songs like yesterday, today and probably tomorrow? Think why did you do it may be in?

I really hope they keep Fallowfield Hillbilly and If It Wasn't For Me. I love those songs live. I think Liam will keep his solo bit and I'd expect a few of the new songs to be included in the solo section of the gig. This again brings up the question of what will be left out again?
Looking at previous setlists there is little that I want to make way. However, if the new songs are as good as they are being hyped up to be, then i guess any omissions will be worth it.

Aftershow better be the opener gives me goosebumps everytime. ALSO will be gutted if Fallowfield Hillbilly, KOTNR, Cavorting and Please Don't , don't make it.

I guess its the same with any other band when they are touring a new album, they will want to play the new stuff and get it out there
Arctic Monkeys have done it with their recent tour, played the majority of the newer stuff at the expense of a lot of fan favourites
I just think we should expect a few surprises because some songs are gna have to make way, maybe not at GMEX though, think that set may be longer

The album will be out for the tour. We'll certainly get more St. Jude at G-Mex than we will in March.

It would feel strange seeing WTYSL anywhere in the set other than as the closer. However, I wouldn't mind them finishing with a new song.

Courteeners 2 encores? I'd be shocked if they were ever to do one encore, let alone two! They're not Bruce Springsteen! I reckon it'll be similar to the Liverpool set at the start of the year, perhaps a bit of variation, and perhaps Aftershow opening for "old time's sake". They've always been a band who've delivered in terms of set lists really
