when you look into somebodys eyes this isnt when you notice the change and the cliche isnt true i dont see these things by looking at you its when i compare you to the rest and realise you're the same.
i get told that the change is good but when you have something so special that becomes everyday you wonder whether the effort is worthwhile when you dont see the everyday girl everyday.
restart my search and hope to rediscover my own faith but it will eventually become futile and I'm probably stuck with you its like the old you is my ex and i miss her.
at this moment in time, you might be my other half, but that doesnt make us symmetrical.

On the dirty road to pain.↲ I opt for a new spot To enjoy my picnic.↲ I lay the blanket.↲ Place the coffee↲ Find the knife.↲ Pull out my new variety of cake. ↲ And cut↲ I cut it symmetrically and equally.↲ Untill darkened lines are visible on the icing↲ A sense of relief washes over me and i sink into a restless but peaceful sleep↲ Where i am momentarily happy.

Conors opinion on poetry is about the same that Hitler had of Jews. Complete waste of time. Ignorance... yeah im going to put every poem in a concentration camp

Nasty Nazi joke CB... It's an oxymoronic idea. I was kinda thinking more of a 'i'm asleep but i really don't want to be but i've not slept in weeks so yeah it's good but not good' kinda thing... But yes, I'm aware of it's contradiciton.

Far too many poems to take in... like them all you 3, your like the 3 amigos of poetry! Glad to see you rethink Ant, like the new approach, maybe not the groundbreaking stuff you were after but I like em When you said people haven't got the bollocks to post in here , did you mean generally or posting a poem?? I'm not so sure it's not having the bollocks, it's like I read them and all that but struggle to find the meaning or do they have a meaning or are they just thoughts So all I can say is I like them or not really, I don't know?? I do relate to them at times, maybe the whole poem or just bits of it. I've just never really read poetry until the poets corner was started in here! I have read bits and bobs before that but to no great extent. So, I'll make more of an effort even if it's not posting a poem. Think I've only ever wrote 2 poems and I did post them If you want to get this board more active what do you think we can do about it? Do you know of or go on any poetry forums we could link up with? I don't know really

The rain still falls but you can't keep dry, A tears runs cold to your cheek from your eye, You give it everything but you still fall down, You make your way back home without making a sound, It all get's so much worse. You look for a friendly face but all you see is snow, Cold and white and not sure where to go, You turn away warmth but take death for free, Put a bet on an early grave rather than come to me, Everything still hurts. Pull out your wings and teach yourself to fly, Teach yourself you're not a victim and you don't want to die. It still get's worse. Let me take you back to home, You will never cry alone, Share the tears and tell me why, Must you always cry? Again improvised, and I'm pretty impressed

Don't let yourself sleep or dream too long, Find comfort in words and somebody elses song, Wide awake and seeking friends, Shadows can't smile because the dark never ends, Wondering why the love just dies, Can't find your own words as to why you cry, The people you teach won't follow your ways, Because you still don't know what to say.
Everyone leaves home and sleeps on the streets, Rather be cold and wet than fall at your feet, No trust was ever had, They'll leave you broke and leave you sad, I wonder why you're walking away from home, I think it's because you're still alone.
