guy from dublin, they sold out two nights at the appollo, played to atleast 30,000 - 40,000 at leeds, one thing you shouldnt do is underestimate the courteeners in there home city. its been about a year since they played in manchester. you think it will be half full.
gmex holds 17,500. theyre playing with the buzzcocks aswell. think about it.

I would have thought they will be in the Central Hall then?? If so, it's around 10,000 if I reading it correct??
In all my excitement I've just read the guests.... Buzzcocks & The Whip are another 2 I'm really into, so what an evening this is going to be!

the apollo didn't exactly sell out at a rate of knots
not that it matters as long as I get my tickets to the best christmas gig going

The apollo hold 3500 though does it not?? Theyve never had their own gig anywhere near this size that ive heard of (correct me if im wrong).
I just wouldnt want it to go the way of that Babyshambles arena tour, saw them in the Metroradio Arena in Newcastle on that tour and it although it was still good it was terrible compared to all the times ive seen them tear the roof off smaller venues. The vast amount of empty space really took away from the whole thing.
Anyway.. probably go anyway, see u there!
