it would be a laugh, cant see the enemy getting kicked off tho..... will all be a done deal now.
wouldnt really like courteeners to support....i think courteeners attract a different set of fans to the usual enemy/twisted wheel fans. its easy to like oasis, the enemy etc..... whilst you have to have good taste to enjoy the courteeners. a morrissey support slot is way more suited.
i think the whole tom clarke oasis thing is probably a magazine blowing everything out of proportion.....as there isnt much else to write about on the music front!
but tom clarke is still a prick haha

Not often I like what Liam says, usually something that I can't relate to and just goes in one ear out the other, but fair play to him, we all know that it's true about Mr Clarke and other than our Liam no one has mentioned anything about him until now, so fair play Liam Gallagher. Can't see then being kicked off the tour mind, but Clarke aint going the right way about things.

im no fan of tom clarke but to be fair that article on oasisteria completely take his words out of context. i don't see any problem with what clarke said. as much as i love liam and noel and oasis, liam is a tit at times.

clarke's a prick but he hasn't said what Liam has made out, more Liam pissed off at him saying Noel could do it by himself
Noel in Q has already said he'd go solo just to make Liam go mental, so I think its more that
clarke's made a statement back already saying its bollocks (shit himself haha)
oh and I love oasis but Liam can be a right tool, man with a fork in a world of soup as noel once said

I just thought it was funny!!
Me and my boyf were talking about seeing bands without cetain members (re: beautiful south performing without paul heaton) and he said it would be like seeing courteeners or oasis with their liams....to which I said liam is the courteeners but oasis with just noel would be fine by me, and he agreed...
However that been said some of the lyrical performances liam has given in the past are magical was listening to She's Electric and it's just totally on the money - Oasis with just noel would be great - but liam is just the icing on the cake I think - bit of a wildcard that makes things that bit more interesting....

I think listening to Oasis and Courteeners without the relevant Liams are both completely different. I'd assume that Noel could sing the whole Oasis catalogue no problem, and Liam doesn't play anything other than maraka, but without 'our' Liam there wouldn't be any rhythm guitar or beautiful voice, or songs to play anyway. Think that the one big thing that Oasis would miss about Liam would be his stage prescence, I've never seen them live but on telly and that he looks like an ace performer. In all fairness, if I was told that I didn't give much to a band, no matter how true, I'd be pretty pissed off.

Oh I knew full well he write them, but I honestly thought he only write lyrics for them, I presumed that he left the rest to the band.

Yeh, eerm, no need for the sarcasm, I just thought that he only wrote lyrics, excuse me for being wrong, but I don't really follow Oasis, just thought that he didn't 'do' writing music. Either way, even though I haven't seen them live, none of them songs get played live do they, and that is the subject matter, his songwriting and musical prowess wouldn't be missed on stage, as I said, more his stage prescence and perfoming.

They still play Songbird and they also play Aint't Got Nothing On Me, Ain't Got Nothing On You as well as Outta Time on this current tour.....Again all wrote by Liam
He's singing the best he's sang for about 6 years so your point is unfounded.
He's just as important to Oasis as his brother
Very, Very True!!!

I certainly wouldn't say as important, surely Noel has played a bigger part in making them what they are now, one of the biggest bands in the world.
