They wouldn't be Oasis without Liam, Oasis was his band. He asked Noel to join, granted Noel wrote all the songs. But Liam had the look, the swagger and an OUTSTANDING voice.
He's as important to Oasis and Oasis fans as Noel.....if he wasn't Noel wouldn't have put up with all the greif and rubbish that his brother created!!

Anywho. Liam took this way out of context. Tom has said nothing wrong. I agree with Tom in a way. Liam has blatently not even read the whole thing and jumped to conclusions.
He doesn't do himself any favours. I am an Oasis an but gone are the days of defending his pathetic behaviour. Grow up man.

without noel they wouldnt have been huge, without liam they'd still have had the tunes, but they wouldnt have had a w**ker frontman to make them abit more unique, take them from pubs to knebworth, but its got f*ck all to do with any musical credentials of liam, its just cus hes outspoken.
as for his voice, the only liam sang tune i like is wonderwall. dont look back in anger, the masterplan and the importance of being idle are miles better and having seen noel sing wonderwall, id prefer just noel to be honest.
