Cameo Brooch seems to be about someone being abused. Maybe I'm reading into it a little much, but seems evident really, "fathers bruise on your arm" etc etc. But on the positive side, whoever it is, Liam says he'll always be there for them So it's got a happy side, the chorus is rather beautiful.

i might be off the mark but i think; someone is getting abused by their father and liam or whoever is protecting them tells someone else in the family that it's the piano teacher because they love their dad (WIth your sister's love for her dad, You tell her it's the piano teacher that has been bad) and then as a result of the abuse they become anorexic (We can see your bones, and we were unprepared)

One lyric I didn't get was the "woolworths/mix" lyric, though every toher lyric I love, even the cheesy cliched ones, I love them all. But I can't get my head around that one But he says he will never speak in cliches, so it is odd that he does. I just expected more I suppose.

"You've not even been to Woolworths to buy your mix" = "You all big yourselves and eachother up as these great bands but you've not even been to Woolworths to buy your CD whereas we have"

oh i thought it was about sweets. like a testament to the late woolworths. I can't remember which but on one of the versions he says Tesco instead of Woolworths which would rule out the sweets. Both sell CDs though (or did in Woolworths case).

i'd say the Woolworths lyric was a metaphor for saying dont judge the band until you've actually seen the band in action for yourself, the proof is in the gigs but you have to put yourself in the mix
