got the album today, well pleased!
got the one with the dvd, someone needs to rip the audio off that, its top notch

which HMV did you get it from? I really want that 7" they're giving away but i preordered my album ages ago so was hoping to get a copy at the instores on wednesday

MANC HMV & i duno about wednesday did you get the email,
it said limeted quantities,
i was first to get one i had to tell the guy behind the counter there was a free 7"

just noticed bouncin bomb is quite like 'thats entertainment' yh one of the reviews i read mentioned that too. he played it at the ritz and i wasn't too impressed then, probably being different live or sometihing. but given all these comparisons with 'thats entertainment' im looking forward to hearing it now. |

have you all seen the NME review for this? though i disagree with the score as i quite like the album in places its hard to argue with it.

it's true that it lacks variety and i must admit some of the lyrics are a bit cringing. "no butter for my toast" is a prime example in my opinion.
but there are some great hooks and really catchy lines flying around, especially in Oh What Have You Done, What's Your Name, and as we already knew, in Bad Candy and Lucy The Castle.
Tbh, the NME was never gonna give it a good review. I've read a few reviews now and it seems that the 'mainstream' names are all snobbingly writing it off, including NME, and The Independant. But reviews on more obscure sites seem very appreciative of it. I think that's what matters.
