The return of Doves

Four years is along time (in the modern pop world), will anyone remember them ? will anyone care ?
Well..Q magazine hint in this month's issue that Kingdom of Rust is their "masterpiece" (whisper it)
Manchester Academy date sold out pretty sharpish so it looks as if Manchester still cares at least....

Yeah I read they were coming back, although the were a band I never really got into - probably because I was well into Oasis/Stone Roses/The Charlatans when they first arrived on the scene!

I think they had some good songs though & I should give 'em another chance now my musical taste has become a lot more broader with age

I read that the album will be total different to the normal 'Doves' kinda album - anyone know for sure?

I think Kingdom of rust is a really good tune. I was never really into the Doves either, but this is a good opportunity to delve into their back catelogue and remember some of their best tunes.
