What was the first album people on here bought? I grew up listening to Weller, Oasis, the Clash and the Pogues in the car, and I'm still massive on those bands now, but the first album I bought of my own choice and accord and that was "Franz Ferdinand" by "Franz Ferdinand". Top album even to this day I believe.
Anyone elses? It'll show the age of some people on this forum!

With me only getting into music mid 2007, I got U218 singles for my birthday of my uncle, I asked for it, I have it in my car now, opened me up to such a range of music.

i first bought Be Here Now when it came out, as it was the first id heard of oasis. was to young for definately maybe & WTSMG. and its still my favourite album of theirs, lots of good memories. i then worked my way back through all the manc bands, & the 60's stuff. and even went through a chuck berry phase!

Haha, Blue. Funnily enough, my brother bought me the Bewitched single for my Bday when I was like 7, looking back I could kill him for that, my Mum also bought me that terrible cover of Wonderwall that some bloke did as a piss take, Mike Flowers was it?? So many terrible things, but first that I asked for as I said was U218 singles, can't remember the first single I bought though, probably ages ago.

I can't actually remember the very first album I bought but it would probably somethin shite and embarrassing when I was young
If it was the first album I bought when Id actually developed a taste in music then, Oasis - Heathen Chemistry I think

These are all a bit cool really mine isn't- first album I ever bought was something like kylie/jason...vinyl of course but first single is slightly more respectable it was band aid (orginal) feed the world I loved it!! I was only 4! Used to spend ages looking at cover and my dad used to say look at those spoilt kids on the front that's you!
Was always obessed with vinyl and my dad has loads of old queen, bowie all sorts used to spend ages looking at them - remember opening Queens Bicycle and seeing loads of naked women on bikes and been mortified!
