just been playing on the new guitar hero sorry to all the people who can play it, but for failures like me its great and i was thinking how much better it would be if a courteeners tune was on it ;D there is no reason, if it all goes well in the USA that it wouldn't be possible if the enemy can convince the america game developers, no reason why liam and the boys can't what would you think to be the best one to play on it? x

I don't really see the point. The lyric wasn't "Can you play Guitar Hero my boy? Can you f*ck"

I've the same thinking as Fergal, it really frustrated me when people get guitar hero, I say to them, "why don't you just get a real guitar??" So much more satifaction, and things like xbox and PS3 go out of fashion, but a guitar lasts you for many many years, so teach yourself or get lessons, and enjoy the thrill of playing along to your favourite songs, PROPERLY, and not pretend

how about f*ck off ant and ferg?
its a blatantly snobby attitude, why not join the army instead of playing call of duty? why not learn n become a pro footballer instead of playing fifa? cus the effort u put in isnt even a fraction. guitar hero n music rhythm games in general are class i think. and i play real guitar...
and i'd love to see cavorting, acrylic, NYDNYD or anythin, i think simple guitar parts would turn them off though, they just did the fratellis on rock band n the guitar isnt fun at all.

thanks dontask i thought i was the only one who thought it could be a good idea to be honest id like to see a whole game devoted to the courteeners but thats very doubtful they would have to go global for that to happen and look what it did to kings of leon x

No need to say "Sorry for the thought" and things like that, at the end of the day its your opinion and you shouldn't "hide in a hole" after saying it, I just don't really agree with it. I don't like the idea of computar games and PS3s and all that nonsense that much as it is, its a good laugh but too many people end up with no social skills to their name because they spend all day inside on their computars and games consoles, I understand thats just a small percentage but still. And the difference between Call of Duty and Guitar Hero is that you can buy a real guitar and learn the songs properly for the same price you'll spend on your games console and Guitar Hero game and that, if not cheaper, call me a snob but why not learn the songs for real on the actual guitar?

I've no console either, costs to bloody much lol.
I'm sticking to my word though, I can't understand why people enjoy it, and on the topic of 'why not join the army instead of playing COD?' The difference is, it is fair easy to play guitar if you can be arsed putting the time into it, and it's a hobby, but joining the army is a lifestyle, as is becoming a pro footballer. Huge difference.

i guess it is a lifestyle, i didnt look at it that way so fair enuf. but you could also just go paintballin then? thats a hobby right? or airsofting? it is still much less effort for those who dont have the time to invest or simply cant be assed.
aside from the drums tho id never play it alone, its more of a drunk with mates thing.
doubt they'll ever get a game dedicated, i couldn't see there being any difficult songs.
lastly apologies for the f*ck off, was drunk, cheers for not reacting.

I don't know who even brought up the idea of having a game dedicated to them, that's stupid. Blown way out of context, they are still a fairly small band in terms of commercialism so don't eevn go there. Even if they were to get big, which I'm sure they will, I don't like the idea of it, don't think it suits them, all the ideas of making money from games.

it would be a big compliment if they did get big enough but i just dont see it happening, their music would not translate well to the game.

Suppose, but what I've always said is that you don't have to be big to be a legend, The La's and The Stone Roses were never that big, but they are now forever spoken as 2 of the greatest bands for a long time, The Smiths were a bit bigger than the above 2, but same principle, never huge worldwide, never had games dedicated to them, but they are one of the greatest british bands ever. The Courteeners will go down as one of the great british bands, I just know it, but whether they are ever huge worldwide or not is a completely different matter.
