Just got home from seeing Glasvegas, Friendly Fires, White Lies, Florence and the Machine [at Academy] and The Naughtys and Florence and the Machine [at Ruby Lounge].
Whilst watching Florence in the Ruby Lounge she did this bit where she made everyone crouch on the floor. Everyone was crouching and this bloke behind me was trying to grab Florence and get her off the stage and onto the floor. Florence said 'No Liam, Stop it Liam and crouch down'. I looked again and it was only Fray hammered ha. He was loving it. Its good that he can still go to gigs and get wasted with his mates.
Anyway, Florence was immense!

I couldn't hack that, crouching and dicking about, being the old miserable fucker as ever, I 'd jst want to go and listen to what should be good music, I'd mnever be dicking around crouching and putting all that effort in. Why the f*ck did she want you to do that anyway.

I've been to quite a few gigs now where its happened. She did it so everyone would jump up after she counts to three and starts a song. I find it very annoying.

the music should provide the entertainment. it sort of divertes the attention away from the tunes. which could be her plan??

I still think it's daft, why can't we stand chat and drink whilst listening to what may well not be a particularly good tune, much more fun than jumping around like a fucking frog with bad flatulance. I think I'd sooner watch a rat be disected by my west highland terrier.

youd rather watch a rat be killed by your dog than chill out and have a few pints watching a band? thats just wierd man!

Yes, bit over the top, and I wouldn't rather do what I said over watching a band and chillin out, I said I'd rather do so than mess around crouching down. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't mean it in a literal sense.

Don't remember if that happened when I saw them supporting Peter Doherty but thought they were awesome and was nice Pete joined them onstage for a bit
