Mint tune, if they get it right then it makes a quality single. I think that this album will have alot more thought put into it, lyrically and musically, not all smach bang f*ck off rock tunes, can't wait.
Anyone heard three months, what type of song is it??

Don't see why you'd put b-sides on an album.
Defeats the purpose of it being a b-side.

Ive heard three months acoustically in liverpool, at the magent aftershow acoustically i think, was short so probably not the full finished song but it had some good lyrics from what I remember on first impressions Liam's spoke to NME about the album in this weeks issue 'Revolver', 'Three Months', 'Why Did You Do It', 'You Over Did It, Doll', 'Last Of The Ladies' (inspired by Audrey Hepburn) and Bojangles are all gna be on the album Also mentioned a possible collaboration with Miles Kane for one song Hoping for a Summer release! Hope thats true can't wait

lol, can't see a Miles Kane 'duet' so to say, not unless either Last Shadow Puppets go on a break or Rascals split up, no one can do 3 things at once, even Jesus would struggle.

It wouldn't be a duet........Liam in NME says that its a collaboration with the band (i.e miles kane will probably just play guitar)
Don't think he would mention it if it wasn't true and ther mates with the Rascals, remember them coming to the liverpool gig at the uni. Supported em a few times too and Miles Kane loves to be in every pie possible as Cal mentioned , so you never know
Im lookin forward to hearin any new stuff at the warm up gig, fingers crossed
Unlucky not gettin tickets Ant, I'll keep an eye out for any spare tickets but ebay might be your only option otherwise. Don't let anyone rip you off though, ther will be plenty more gigs

i like this news about this possible work with miles kane, he's a top lad. although their album was disappointing, the rascals do have some cracking tunes, and his work with alex turner on Favourite Worst Nightmare and Age Of The Understatement was fantastic.

I like the idea of talented young artists working together. It can only be a good thing for music. Miles puts alot of thought into his lyrical content so I would imagine any sort of calaboration will work out well. Be interesting to see how the two differnt styles merge.

yh it's nice to hear the different accents too. who would've thought scouse + yorkshire would fit together as well as it does on Age Of The Understatement?

I'm unsure about whether it'd fit well with their sound but it'll be interesting if it goes ahead. Miles Kane is one of the best guitarists we've got at the moment, he's class in terms of energy and ablility. When I saw the Little Flames in 2007 everyone around us were commenting on how good he were, he were proper going for it, little did anyone think that within the year he'd have made an album with Alex Turner
