What does everyone think of Mani's comments and the recent rumours? reckon it could be possible? or just press and fan hype? there're loads of reunion things going on atm, what with Blur and the smiths rumours (although im doubtful about them :[ ) i'd be over the moon if the roses reformed. ian brown's son goes to my school so i might have to introduce myself...

Nah I'd hate a Roses reunion, I'd still go like, but I just don't see the point whatsoever. Libertines reunion is all I want really, by the way of reforming. If the Smiths reformed it'd be a disgrace, though I can't ever see it being likely, not because of the ancient "Moz v Marr" myth but because of Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke, after the court case they've both been blacklisted by Morrissey, and he's never one to go back on his word. Cool about Ian Brown's son going your school, last time I saw Brownie at 53 degrees his son was at the side of the stage, he looked proper embarassed of his dad!

The reunions, so many ey. Blur are reuniting, yet probably just temp. The Smiths won't reunite, I think all 4 are happy as they are and none of the 4 would want to do so.
The Specials reunion, not heard much from them but still nice to hear. As for The Stone Roses, Squire said that he went to the Led Zeppelin one off gig thing and he said is was amazing, so perhaps if they reformed for a one off gig them who knows what it'll be like. I'd personally love it but as you say, Brown is a bellend so it wouldn't happen anyway. Just a no hope for me.
A Libertines reunion would be quality, but I really can't see it happening simply because of how unreliable Doherty can be, but much more likely than a Roses one.
Let's just wait for Mavers to get going again. Watch this space...

yeh i recon so aswell, pete and carl are still in their prime... roses reunion wouldnt be a good idea, there all sorted without the roses really: brownie solo stuff, mani in primal scream, john squire painting and reni just wearing hats. ha.

I really would kill a human being for a Roses reunion, just for the experience, but as Dec said, they haven't really a need to, even Reni is in a band now, they all enjoying themselves.
