I can see what you're thinking with the band being left out and that, but
the songs that Liam does solo are best done that way, yesterday today and an ex is an ex for a reason aren't as well suited for a whole band version
NYD,NYD was awesome last night but I do love the bass riff in it
Overall I think they got it just right, was terrific and I can't wait for tonight

I think that the solo spot adds not detracts from the gig its always one of my favourite parts of the night as it adds a dimension you just don't get with alot of bands, particularly when they add a string section. Top stuff.

Enjoyed hearing the new song: "about meeting one two many ?? when you're at the Triangle/ Sinclair's " anyone catch what he said ? Strings worked well really like That Kiss live, Acrylic was another highlight for me a few too many Main Heads (or Mayne heads, dunno how ya spell it) Haven't heard that word for time tho.. since high school or something!

Me and two mates came down from Dundee to see the gig on Friday took 6 hours on the train but in the end was well worth it!and was on a different level to any other gig in Scotland!Top marks to Danny for getting us free tickets and on the gueslist for the aftershow at 'Space' where we met the band who we sat with for hours drinking and chatting about everything.
WHAT A FUCKIN' NIGHT x

Mr Fray is on the front of Urban Life - do you mean that one ? Talks about his year to date. I liked the anecdote about Elbow's Starlings - I love that song too. Mayne head ?? That's gone over by head I'm afraid !?

I noticed in Aleef the other day "United We Stand" fanzine had Ryan Giggs on the front with the headline "Not Nineteen Forever"
Off topic, but quite impressive.

Sign of a band being big when their tunes are namechecked in headlines and that, in the Sun a month or two ago when it said sumat about the Libs possibly reforming the headline was "Libertine dream?"

At the aftershow the band couldn't have been any nicer to us and all their mates were dead welcoming.
