Has there ever been a more annoying band ever?
I've seen them about three or four times and admittedly I think they're quite a good live act but they annoy the f*ck out of me!
Giving it the hardmen act when the lead singers about 4ft tall and going on shows like something for the weekend etc etc! pathetic!
The people of coventry must be fickle as anything to sell out the ricoh arena two times over to see that lot!

i think theyve got good tunes, and a good sound. and mint live, but they were deffo bullied at school and are trying to make up for it now by acting like theyre the prole, working class voice of the generation.
and hes a strange little fella aswell

theyv got some good tunes and are a great live band like, but the album just didnt live up to what i was expecting from the EP, all the best tunes on the album where the ones that were on the EP and the rest (happy birthday jane, pressure, etc etc) were very average. i do reckon they could swing either way, be really shit or really good, with the 2nd album, cos theyv got like the potential to be both.

I think that little dwarf c**t of lead singers a complete dog end, the other lads in the band might be alright, they don't get a fucking word in because of that gob shite.
He's got to much attitude for one so ugly.
Apparently they doing a track with Weller on his new album....he must be going senile and pissing in his cords to want to be near that shower!!!
They don't deserve all the hype there mediocre at best...

but on a serious note, saw em live at academy 3 in april last year (what a gig) and have loved em ever since, when i first started listenin to em they were just normal quiet lads and i dont know whats happened to them but i agree completely that tom can be a dick at times but u cant take away what really crackin music they make.
Its the old blur-oasis thing again isnt it? in a few years time u will realise they're both great bands

the blur v oasis thing annoys me cos like, even if blur were better than oasis (and dont get me wrong, blur were great just not AS great as oasis), oasis would have still came off better. oasis didnt care about the fued, blur got too into it, appearing on the 10 o clock news and that, albarn admits now that it was basically just Blur and the NME siding together to sell more records/NMEs by creating this fued and oasis were basically oblivious

Seen the Enemy live quite a few times and they are good gigs. For a first album they had some decent songs. Will be interesting to see how they progress. As regards the slagging off of the Arctics again I think it's just the music press picking stuff up out of context. Have seen the Arctics a few times but to be honest although they are a good band I dont feel they quite step up to the bigger venues that well and I think the first album is far supperior to their second.

the lead singer needs to stop making himself look like such a jackass. it's really hard to buy the whole tough image thing from someone who is about 3'7".
