'THAT KISS' - FORMAT DETAILS
The new single from The Courteeners - 'That Kiss' - will be released on September 29th. As per the album, the new single was recorded with Stephen Street at Olympic Studios, London, and features strings arranged by Mr Fray himself, and performed by the same string section that performed on Blur's classic 'The Universal'.
Last week, the band went into the studio again this time to put down the accompanying B-sides for the CD and 2 x 7" formats which we can reveal as:
'Jacket' (B-side to the CD format)
'Saw This And FORT Of You' (7" no. 1)
'Car Thirty One' (7" no. 2)
The first 7" format will be printed on delicious red vinyl, and the second one neatly fits into 7" no. 1's packaging to form a set. What's more, the band have all signed a copy of the 7" and you can get your hands one of these by pre-ordering all 3 physical formats at Recordstore. In time honoured tradition, all 3 formats are available at the bargain price of just £5 (cheaper than the shops).
Remember, all of these tracks are brand new and have not been available anywhere else previously.

just saw this on my e-mails and was gonna post it - ya beat us to it  can't wait to hear these new songs - suprised revolver wasn't on there but perhaps I was getting my hopes up |

Aye, I reckon they'll be saving Revolver for the second record, or at least it seemed that way from the NME interview

Did anyone see the performance on T4 Transmission - or whatever it is called. Was good strings en all - I treat myself to an early nite so set my alarm for 12:15 friday nite to watch it and then for 8.50 on sat morning to watch it again! Obviously my friends found this very sad but I'm sure you lot understand!!!
