Yeah I read an article where liam described his lyrical style as been inbetween skinner and turner - can't remember the exact quote. Never really got into their stuff in a big way but loved 'Blinded my the lights' and 'Fit but you know it' is a quality tune...they played that Newcastle Evolution festival in May

Great band, first two albums are genius. The last one let me down, but it still had some belters on there. Lyrical master is Mike Skinner, and the overall delivery and the music in it all, quality. Roll on album number 4

The Irony of it All is a classic tune, every song on that album is (apart from Stay Positive). Aye, I reckon A Grand Don't Come For Free is better, well its a better album but Original Pirate Material has better standalone tunes like

.....and back on topic, this is dead coincidental as i just started listening to the streets a bit the other day. yh the lyrics are pretty sound, although it can get a tad boring and pointless at times. overall though, dead good, yh.
