Your right about the other forum Chel they always delete my posts when I mention S&C, I have even emailed them to try and get an exchange of links going but no reply! Anyway, who knows what they want to chat about but I'm hoping it brings some good news for us all

daz, would u let the forum become the official forum?? cus its been running perfectly as an independent type fans forum, plus, the big boys in charge of the band, might try to make money out of this forum. its been running fine with your hard work and having cal as an administrator, lets just hope they dont have their own ideas about trying to get their people to run this forum. we all know what they have been up to, deleting bits from people posts in the nydnyd section, lets just hope that kind of thing isnt a permanant fixture

Yeah good point.....we don't want them taking over telling us what we can can't say...you know what it's like now look at big brother....but this forum is really good - it's beta than the arctic monkeys forum...and any festival forum I've tried to post on I usually go on forums a few times and then lose interest but I'm on this on everyday! I just think darren and cal deserve some recognition for their work....

Thanks for all your replies and suggestions but please try and keep this thread related to the t-shirt only. Thanks (anyone wanting to discuss S&C's chances of being the official forum please go to my new thread about this.)

The phone call ended up just as a general chat and wasn't anything to do with the tee and that's all I can say Someone else is enquiring about the t-shirt, so we have to be patient but I'll keep checking my emails for anything. They must be extremely busy doing their own work so this is just an added (problem) for them

not to worry pal, you were only tryin yer best to promote the band, seems strange, you can get a load of fake poor quality t-shirts and flog them right outside the gigs, ripping fans and the band off, yet nothing is said, and yet your threatened with a legal notice, probably if you had offered them free with say 10/15 pound postage and packing, nudge wink, anyhow dont worry your doing a damn fine job on here, top forum.

I can tell from this you to work really hard for S&C Darren, and I was thinking that about the ones outside gigs.

Yo Darren
Don't be despondent in any way!!! A bridge too far maybe. ? Remember, bear in mind that the band (at the moment) is 'owned by 'THE CORPOTRATION', 'THE MAN'. He has all the say in what they do. where they go etc.. They (the band) probably wouldn't be where they are now without 'THE MAN'. No 'St Jude', no Glasto, no TV or anything.. 'THE MAN' owns the band; It's music; its right to be where it wants to be, when it wants to be, how it wants to be AND MERCHANDISING (an ugly term) Oasis, George Michel, and Elton John bought out! Whether 'teeners can or not remains to be seen. Much will depend on your continuig support. "it's just the riff of the music the thing they luv:"

Dead right about the continuing support - S&C have got to keep spreading the word. Force them to listen... ...tie 'em down if you have to! Don't let anyone say they don't like the band until they have heard the album a few times. If all else fails at least you have tried
Still nothing from Slipstream or the management I'm starting too think they are just letting the t-shirt pass by, maybe they are busy but you would have thought I would have had a response by now. I should write another email asking if they have discussed anything yet, at least this will show we still want our t-shirt back

like said before, they are a business, they won't act on anything ie: release a forum shirt like, you give em the design and they release and profits go half and half or summit
they won't do that, they are just in it for the money - they spotted an infrigment in you selling the shirts, they threated legal, now the dust has settled, they have tossed this issue to the bottom of the pile so to speak
