As Cal spotted I'm not using the .com URL, I have since thought he's dead right! I'll have to totally re-promote the forum from now on. A banner or something for the main page will be done to make the annoucement properly. Erm... can't get too into this yet though, I'll do as much as I can in free time but I'm not promising anything will happen before Sept/Oct time Sorry, back on subject. Here's a myspace version I did to post in the bands comments - I bet they will be glad when the festivals are over and I go away ;D Sorry I forgot to change the year! Working on it...

The Doctor Loft festival is today and the lads will play about 6pm according to the festivals website or 5pm on The Courteeners myspace. I've just done a myspace version to post in the bands comments again, the last 2 got in, so I hope I'm not too late with this one. I know of the "Steven Street" mistake, I blame the Doctor Loft website who posted the description of the band (Fergal could be my proof reader ) I also blame cut/paste, far too easy to trust the original. So all attention away from me, I started doing bits on the T in the Park flyer, just the basics like the style and layout. Hopefully I get some more done today and will let you know how I'm getting on

Bloody hell! I haven't posted in here since the 4th flyer, I'm now up to the 10th So I've just managed to keep up with them all, with more added dates I'll try and get all my ideas penned out this weekend, so I know what styles to work towards etc. This will save me loads of time in the long run - get all the research out the way and just leave the designing. I haven't really had much feedback from the flyers, so it would be a great help if you could summarise all the flyers so far. Which one(s) are your favourites? and why? Please let me know what you think. Cheers

Down to the last festival date, Jersey Live! With 2 weeks to go until that, I thought I could do something a little different. I've been collecting ***** of the bands ****** **** and will ******* the best for a ** flyer. ( I cant give anything away as this time, that explains the ***) I feel the suspense already S&C Forum Festival Flyer Frenzy Oh yeah! It's that time of year again, I may not be going to any this year for the first time in years but I'll distract myself away from that and make a flyer for each festival appearance by The Courteeners I will certainly try and create different styles for each festival if I get the time. I've got a lot more ideas on what styles to use for different festivals and different ways to produce them. The Courteeners Summer Festivals 2008: ( updated 15/08/08) Key:Flyer releasedPhysical flyer also made and has/will been handed out at the festivalWorking on flyer for the festival Date - Location, Festival• 12th June - Sweden, Hultsfred Festival ...images...• 28th June - Glastonbury Festival ...images...• 4th July - O2 Wireless Festival...images...• 6th July - Spain, Doctor Loft Festival• 12th July - T in the Park• 13th July - Oxegen Festival• 16th July - Greece, Fly-Beeyond Festival• 19th July - Switzerland, Gurten Festival• 20th July - Spain, Benicàssim Festival• 26th July - Japan, Fuji Rock Festival• 1st August - München, Sonnenrot Festival• 5th August - Ibiza Rocks• 9th August - Germany, Open Flair• 10th August - Germany,Taubertal Festival• 16th - 17th August - V Festival • 30th August - Jersey Live

I have been hard at work on this flyer for the last day and a half. This has made me more positive about getting this out by tomorrow evening. I'm now down to a few design issues and clearing up any loose ends. I'm still not giving anything away yet but I'll give regular updates through Sunday as to my progress... ... yeah there's going to be a mad rush for this one
You best keep checking tomorrow or you'll miss it

Finally I can reveal that I have made a very limited physical flyer for the Jersey Live.I have made a compilation CD from all the best footage of The Courteeners festival appearances. Only 25 of you will get The Courteeners 'Best of Festivals 2008' CD Flyer Yes only 25! So the first 25 members to sign-up to the CD Flyer request in the flyer thread here will get the CD sent to them.I thought we should have another give-away as it's been a long time since the badge set. Here's a few pictures of the final physical flyer (shame I couldn't get a load done for the actual festival). A simple affair, printed on high resolution paper, folded around the CD, added insert (festival flyer), sleeve stamped on back with personal number, all then put into a clear sleeve (like you get promos in). All done & GOOD LUCK
