www.bbc.co.uk/switch/them/amy.shtmlWatch this for a good laugh, I'm eternally grateful to the BBC for summing up just what indie music is for all of us, thankyou very much Beeb. Turns out we are all just plasterscene being moulded into libertine dreamers after all. A mate of mine on the Foals forum showed me this link, its fair funny really, how wrong they are, the ones for mosher, nu-rave and sporty are also quite funny Enjoy la's

when listening to radio one is your influence to becoming 'indie' then it kind of defeats the whole meaning of the term...which stands for individual not listening to the most popular radio station in the country

The line that sums that whole vid up is 'I'm Amy...and I'm an indie', whilst holding up a picture of Johnny Borrell.

I actually HATE that girl. And what's going on with her hair? Nevermind hairspray being an essentail item of being 'an indie', try using a hairBRUSH for god's sake. And if you're jeans are so tight they hurt, take them off you moron! As for 'I listen to vinyl... because it's quirky', not because you prefer the sound of it? No, it's 'quirky'. Fantastic.
GET A LIFE!

It's actually quite brilliant. I've changed my mind since getting over wanting to punch I'm Amy And I'm An Indie. The Nu Raver one is quite funny, and I've just watched a bit of the Mosher one. That's a good one purely for the fact that his band is called 'Septic Sex' haha! Good lord :-)
I'm sure I should have something better to do with my Sunday afternoon, but it's rather addictive watching daft teenagers talk nonsense!

"we don't have a band name cos you know thats the indie thing to do" The NME is the indie bible Well if the NME is the indie bible then I'll welcome the devil with open arms.... And yeah, I forgot about the band called The .

It does, let alone whoever calls themselves "an indie". What even is indie these days, I don't know. Been devalued by too many morons using the term and too many bands dragging themselves on the coattails of a popular movement.
